and excel in harmony. Grasping this concept is the first step to strong emotional health. The second step is
living a balanced life. To achieve this eliminates the internal conficts that have dwelled inside since our
very existance. Furthermore this makes one aware of possible
life unbalancing acts.
This balancing act is enjoining all aspects of your life together in such a way as they all contribute to helping
you reach your goals in an enjoyable, positive and nurturing way. Instead of constantly battling oneself and living
an effectively conflicting multiplicity - you are one - and the
circle of life is constantly one of embetterment.
At KnovaLife we show you how to take control of your own life and manage all the chosen (and initially unchosen or given)
life aspects - with this your goals and dreams are clear and achievable. You become emotionally and mentally
healthy as you live one fulfilling life. Not a multitude of small interconnected and interfering lives - one can envisage

There is little doubt that in today’s modern world it is essential to be mentally, physically and emotionally fit.
These fitnesses are all related - you need to be physically fit to allow the alertness and longevity of your daily functioning
to be optimal. Very simple eat well, get adequate rest, exercise! Each aspects is very important in order to have a strong
and healthy body that can manage stress, ward off illnesses, and allow you to conduct your daily functioning
without feeling overly fatigued and run down.

Step One - Where are you out of balance?
The first part of assessing one’s emotional health is the recognition of where you out of
balance. As one trundles through life - usually unbeknown to yourself, you are constantly in conflict and therefore
always out of balance in varying degrees. This is constantly putting you at odds with your self and your life.
Simply your number one goal, and the health benefits will flow naturally as a result, is to attain balance and
keeping that balance in your life To reiterate. There is no need to dramatise as we can all achieve this balance.
First where are you out of balance - below are typical components of one’s life;
- Parents
- Friends
- Spouse
- Children
- Work
- Hobbies
- Home
- Car
- Pets
Due to the way we are typically brought up in the modern world we handle all these components as seperate and not
related parts. Here is the basis of where life unbalancing acts emanate from - and usual because they are
all atypical of your environment. You are unaware that you are unbalanced and consider it normal to be suffering
emotional traumas and stresses.
Let us take a typical average Joe. This chap works in a job he doesn’t like, works rediculously long hours,
ignores the basic emotional needs of his wife and family, flip flops between friends and family desires trying to keep others
happy, spends all money on that house and car. Time become more stressed constantly paying catchup with work, friends, hobbies
etc. All this constantly puts added stressors upon you which feed on each other as you constantly go from one mini - crisis (usually exaggerated!)
- you then become sick and irritable etc etc. These life unbalancing acts work to drag you down and cause
strain on your job, your family, your friendships and your life in general.
Do you see any of this in your own life or with others? These are all
examples of being out of balance - recognise them and work towards balance.
Step Two - Rebalancing
After recognizing these life unbalancing acts - the next step is putting all these outwardly
separate pieces of your life to the betterment of your "life as one." These individual elements all
interact in one way or another - this is the circle of life instead of fighting that natural flow allow them to react
naturally. Instead of allowing one to interfere with the other, learn how to allow them to enhance the direction
of your life. This is the key, learning how the different components of your
life all fit together and enhance one another and from there determine how you can balance these components to
provide a piece of mind, a sense of harmony, satisfaction and fulfillment. Firstly we recognize our out of balances,
secondly we are aware of the need for rebalancing - now we must work to make this a reality!
Step Three - Prioritize
Through the ages we have usually seen where in the case of having to decide on whether to put
your job or your family first - the job wins out. This then pressures your family which in turn
affects your disposition, your job and all other aspects of your life. Having recognized that you are unbalanced
you are aware that you must prioritise - from here you can better
balance the conflicts that exist between the need for security and satisfaction with
work and the need to satisfy your family and other elements of your life. From here you will recognize that
the family does provide an intense sense of purpose and satisfaction in one’s life. All of a sudden it seems you feel
happy to be home, you have spring in your step at work. What seemed a burden is something to be proud of and
cherished because it is something that you have created. From here we evaluate the satisfaction you
desire, the time at work taken away from your family. Ask yourself do the stresses from the outside world
affect your family life. This is an example of your work and family interacting, it is important to go through all of the aspects
of your life and recognize, evaluate and prioritize. The one asset that can never be recovered is
time, it is a precious gift given to us at birth. Time management is very important in prioritizing.

Step Four - A fulfilling Life
It is essential to have a fulfilling life to remain balanced. From here we attain strong
emotional health. It is important to assess your general priorities so as they provide you satisfaction
in the following areas;
- The balance of nature - food, water, and air
- One love - your needs for love
- Security and safety - providing it
- Self esteem - enhancing it
- Personal growth - you constantly grow and develop
- Elightenment
These priorities will provide balance and constantly interplay and enhance one another.
Significantly we have not listed money as an objective. Think of money as what it is;
a way to provide security for yourself and your family. Money is all a means to achieve success
as it is a measure of success - this is important that measure should never become an imbalance priority or that
ship you have worked so hard to balance will tumble over! When you plan your goals
think of money as a means to achieve an objective - hence a measure of success. This is important
and critical to sound emotional and mental health. The quelling of greed and fear is so important.
If you do not keep money in perspective it becomes all-consuming, if you set an objective how you want to live
comfortably - a new home whatever it may be. Whether it is to be the next media tycoon or to own a 2 acre block for
your family you now have a measure for your success - this is important it is part of the balance.
Make sure you also have more than work and family - this is very important. Have extracurricular activities
- indeed you can share them with your family - but essentially remain challenged, happy and vibrant.
You will continue to grow, become enlightened and at peace with your mind, body and soul!
Very simply the longer you do not engage in balancing activities the more your
quality of life will diminish - and in time living the good life will be a dream! Further more your circle of life,
will start to have negative reinforcement;
You will hurt emotionally,
which will then affect you mentally,
which will then affect you physically,
which will then affect you spiritually,
and so on!
Remember being healthy involves your entire body.
It will also increase your
self-confidence, self-esteem, and over all, your self-respect. All of these
As you grow and improve you will feel it - you will be happy and calm - the connection between your body, mind, heart, and spirit
will become more evident - to not only yourself but with others around you. This connection and respect will then begin to shape
how you see the rest of the world - you will suddenly see many of your preconceived notions were nothing but protective mechanisms - your
body is setting your mind free. The great thing is this self knowledge will continue to guide you and help you grow and live your best
life - a good and vital life. Go to our
